At Nature Learning Studio Ecol, we display photos, handmade models, specimens and information panels to show in an easy-to-understand way how plants, mushrooms, insects, birds and animals coexist in Niseko’s rich natural environment.
Make your very own original doll, photo frame or other piece of craftwork from natural materials like twigs, leaves and nuts sourced in the Niseko area.
The Kutchan Natural History Museum is located in Kutchan town, 10 minutes from the station by car. Visitors can view exhibits about the nature of Niseko and Mount Yotei and hear fascinating insights from the curator. Visit the museum in combination with Ecol for double the fun!
